На почетку годишњег Форума Европске инвестиционе банке који се одржава у Луксембургу 7. и 8. фебруара 2024. године, директорка Фонда за развој Републике Србије Татјана Матић имала је већ првог дана значајан састанак са извршном директорком Европског инвестиционог фонда, госпођом Marjut Falkstedt.
Матић је детаљно упознала своју европску колегиницу са радом Фонда за развој, задацима и резултатима ове једине развојне финансијске институције у Републици Србији која за циљ има развој малих и средњих предузећа, равномеран регионални развој, подстицање запошљавања, производње, заштите животне средине као и унапређење технолошких процеса производње, подстицање улагања у дигитализацију и примену нових технологија. Управо су нове технологије и дигитализација, између осталих, теме које су од заједничког интереса за Фонд за развој Републике Србије и Европског инвестиционог фонда и представљају поље могуће сарадње у наредном периоду.
ЕИФ има кључну улогу у унапређењу економског раста и иновација широм Европске уније. Њихова централна мисија је да подрже европска мала и средња предузећа побољшавајући њихов приступ финансирању у Европи и у неколико земаља ван Европе. ЕИФ такође подстиче иновације и запошљавање. Основни циљ им је развој предузетништва кроз њихов раст, иновације, истраживања и развој, запошљавање и регионални развој. Такође, фокусирани су и на жене и њихову заступљеност у бизнису, на улагање у климатске и инфраструктурне фондове.
„Европски инвестициони фонд је део Европске инвестиционе банкарске групе. Наши циљеви су идентични – њихова мисија је да европским микро, малим и средњим предузећима олакша приступ финансијским средствима, на чему ми такође предано радимо и у том смислу верујемо да посебно у одређеним сегментима попут додатног подстицања женског предузетништва, подстицању стартап компанија из области ИТ-ја, подстицање технолошких компанија које нуде решења за изазове зелене агенде, можемо заједничким снагама отворити нове изворе повољног финансирања и омогућити додатни раст и развој у региону Западног Балкана”, рекла је директорка Фонда, госпођа Татјана Матић.
ЕИФ je у нашем региону највише присутан преко приватних инвестиционих фондова којима је инвеститор (попут Integral Venture Partners који су власници ресторана Walter и фирме Chips Wаy у Србији).
New technologies and digitization are future fild for cooperation between the EIF and the Fund
At the beginning of the annual Forum of the European Investment Bank, which is held in Luxembourg from 07-08/02/2024, the director of the Fund for the Development of the Republic of Serbia, Tatjana Matić, on the first day had an important meeting with the executive director of the European Investment Fund, Mrs. Marjut Falkstedt.
Matić introduced her European colleague in detail to the work of the Development Fund, the tasks and results of this only development financial institution in the Republic of Serbia, which aims to develop small and medium-sized enterprises, balanced regional development, encouraging employment, encouraging production, encouraging environmental protection as well as improvement of technological production processes, encouraging investment in digitization and application of new technologies. New technologies and digitization, among other topics, are of common interest to the RS Development Fund and the European Investment Fund and represent a possible field of cooperation in the coming period.
The EIF has a key role in promoting economic growth and innovation across the European Union. Their central mission is to support European small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by improving their access to finance in Europe and in several countries outside Europe. The EIF also encourages innovation and employment. The main goal is the development of entrepreneurship through growth, innovation, research and development, employment and regional development. Also, they focused on women and their representation in business, investing in climate and infrastructure funds.
The European Investment Fund is part of the European Investment Banking Group. Our goals are identical – their mission is to facilitate access to financial resources for European micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, which is what we are also committed to and believe in, especially in certain segments such as additional encouragement of female entrepreneurship, encouragement of start-up companies in the field of IT, encouraging technological companies that offer solutions to the challenges of the green agenda, we can jointly open new sources of favorable financing and enable additional growth and development in the region of the Western Balkans”, said the director of the Fund, Mrs. Tatjana Matić.
EIF is mostly present in our region through private investment funds in which it is an investor (such as Integral Venture Partner, the owner of Walter restaurant and Chips Way Company in Serbia).
